Welcome to the Web page of the Natural History Museum of the Aegean.

Visitors to Samos (Greece) have the opportunity to visit the fascinating Natural History Museum. On display are many specimens of natural treasures from Samos and the Aegean. It was established by the Konstantinos and Maria Zimalis Foundation and is divided into five sections: Palaeontology, Mineralogy, Geology, Botanology and Zoology.

The Museum has about 30,000 visitors per year.

The Museum is open from May until the end of October, Tuesday through Saturday 09.00-14.00 and Sunday 10.00-14.00. On Mondays it is closed.

During the rest of the year (November until the end of April) it is open only by special arrangement mainly for groups. Please contact us if you wish to arrange an appointment this particular period.
